April 15, 2020, might have seemed like an ordinary day during quarantine, but to us, it was a day to enlist a lot of love to our San Francisco neighbors. If you’re a native or long time resident who stands in solidarity, April 15th is not only an area code but a day to celebrate bright life and culture – with so many Bay Area folks hunkered down at home and practicing social distancing as the city “shelters in place,” restaurant delivery in the wake of coronavirus has been the ultimate gift to many diners who still want to find a great bite to eat. And as our daily way of life continues to rapidly change, this year our agency set out to collaborate with SF Travel and The Golden Gate Restaurant Association  to launch not only Order415.com but the official launch of a social media initiative #415day because who doesn’t love a great excuse to celebrate delicious food.

Order 415: A New Way to Discover and Support San Francisco Restaurants

Our Vision for Order 415

Whether you’re already practicing social distancing or have put yourself into self-quarantine, it’s clear that you should have groceries and other essentials delivered to you if possible and that includes your favorite bowl of clam chowder. As the city’s restaurants scramble to reinvent their menus and lower prices to accommodate their culinary excellence for takeout and delivery service, more than 100 local eateries looking for business amid the coronavirus downturn have been listed on Order415.com within a few hours of its launch. Our goal was to keep consumers connected to their favorite dining establishments and with Order 415 in full swing, this gesture can make a difference in helping to lift up our neighbors through this crisis with an effort to help increase sales and online engagement.

We’re Still Open San Francisco

Order 415 started as a simple idea that grew into something monumental in a short amount of time. From the support of our unbelievable team, we are here to remind Bay Area residents two things: there’s no reason to start hoarding vast amounts of food from the supermarkets, and being in quarantine doesn’t mean you can’t eat well. So get your eating pants stretched and ready because from corner eateries to world-class restaurants, operations focused on takeout and delivery have been accepted at a speed that shows just how precarious their survival has become to a hungry community.

Tired of Cooking in Quarantine?

Like many of you, we are in support of flattening the curve and encouraging you all to stay home as much as possible, but you can still support the local restaurant industry by ordering in. If you’re like us and crave your favorite pizza from Local Kitchen and Wine Merchant, you can visit the site and view what restaurants are offering takeout, curbside or delivery. The site will also give instructions on how restaurants can register online. We might not be able to dine out anymore, but that doesn’t mean your favorite restaurant can’t remain a viable option for getting hot food to your table. Did we forget to mention this is a free service for both users and restaurants?

Check out Order415.com and follow us on social media to stay updated on new restaurants and specials.
