Customer Overview
NexGen Communications is a B2B telecom solutions provider specializing in communication infrastructure for mid-sized enterprises. Their website is a key resource for customers researching solutions, engaging with sales, and accessing support. However, their existing website on WordPress was difficult to manage, making content updates time-consuming and inefficient.

The Challenge
NexGen’s website was built on WordPress, making content management cumbersome and inefficient. Their team struggled with frequent delays due to the platform’s complexity, requiring technical assistance for even minor updates. The site itself was heavily text-based, lacked strong visual engagement, and didn’t provide an intuitive user experience. Midway through the project, NexGen also restructured their content, causing scope adjustments and timeline shifts. They needed a flexible, scalable solution that allowed for easy content updates, improved site performance, and a better user experience without ongoing developer support.
The Solution
Growth migrated NexGen’s website from WordPress to HubSpot CMS Hub, creating a streamlined and visually engaging site using the Redwood Industrial theme. The project included a full website and content migration, custom branding, improved navigation, and key integrations like Google Reviews and an Instagram feed. A two-hour training sessionensured NexGen’s team could manage the new site independently, giving them full control over future updates.
Growth followed a three-phase approach: theme setup and branding, content migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) using BugHerd to ensure quality before launch. The project timeline was extended from its original December 19, 2024, deadline to February 6, 2025, due to content restructuring. Growth adapted with weekly check-ins, keeping the project on track despite shifting requirements.
The Results
With the migration to HubSpot CMS, NexGen’s website is now fully optimized, visually engaging, and easy to manage. Their team can update content quickly and independently, eliminating the need for ongoing developer support. The improved navigation and integrated features, such as Google Reviews and an Instagram feed, have enhanced user experience and engagement. Growth’s structured training ensured NexGen’s team is fully equipped to maintain their website, giving them complete control over future updates while increasing operational efficiency.
