Dollamur Sport Surfaces, a Fort Worth maker of athletic mats and flooring with more than 80 employees, matched ad spend to deals by hand and got orders into its Epicor Kinetic ERP through workarounds. Growth moved its 37,753 companies and 21,291 deals from Apptivo into HubSpot and priced more than 26,000 parts to match Epicor. Growth also built and tested an integration that sends a paid deal to Epicor as a sales order.

Why did Dollamur Sport Surfaces leave Apptivo?

Dollamur Sport Surfaces quoted in Apptivo, which its own staff had set up around how wrestling sells. Fitness quotes are more complex, so some reps worked outside it. Ryan Cormier, VP of Marketing, put it plainly:

"...if the tool doesn't make life easier for a sales manager, it makes more sense for them and the business for them to go outside of that so they can work more efficiently."

That had a cost. Apptivo could not record where a lead came from, so marketing matched ad spend to deals by hand in a spreadsheet. Orders reached Epicor through workarounds: 50/50 orders were marked paid early, and the sales tax on a quote did not always match Epicor's.

What is in place at Dollamur now?

This is what Growth has built and checked in the HubSpot portal of Dollamur Sport Surfaces.

  Before Built in HubSpot
Quote requests Apptivo and a shared spreadsheet One Get a Quote form with 13 product categories, routed by state, in turn or to a named owner
Records In Apptivo 37,753 companies and 21,291 deals, each count checked in the live portal

"Growth Operations Firm is not a vendor, they're a partner. ... They've supported us through every step of our CRM migration and guided us through technical hurdles with precision."

How did Growth build HubSpot around an ERP?

Growth, an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner accredited in CRM Data Migration and Custom Integration, kicked off with Dollamur Sport Surfaces in May 2026. The split came first: HubSpot runs leads, deals, quotes, invoices and service, and Epicor Kinetic stays the system of record for orders, production, shipping and accounting.

  • Lead routing from one Get a Quote form: wrestling by state across seven regions, round robin for martial arts and government, named owners for the rest.
  • An order pipeline from design layout to quote, invoice and payment, with a quote package for each sport.
  • A Service Hub help desk for warranty, returns and general tickets, with a six-hour first-response target.
  • Custom middleware that sends a paid deal to Epicor as a sales order and loads Epicor's products, price books and costs into HubSpot.
  • The Apptivo migration, run against exclusion rules Dollamur agreed before the first import.

For HubSpot teams

  • Hubs: Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, Service Hub and Commerce Hub.
  • Started from: Apptivo CRM and a shared lead spreadsheet.
  • Integration: custom middleware to Epicor Kinetic, one HubSpot deal to one Epicor sales order.
  • Records moved: 37,753 companies, 21,291 deals, 25,765 contacts and 2,393 leads.
  • Partner: Growth Operations Firm, Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner, accredited in Custom Integration.
  • A good fit for: manufacturers and distributors who quote in a legacy CRM and fulfill in an ERP like Epicor.

Questions about this project

How long did Dollamur's Apptivo migration take?

The main run took two days, August 25 and 26, 2026. Before it, Dollamur's team merged Apptivo and its shared lead spreadsheet into one master file. After it, every company and deal count was checked in the live portal.

Can HubSpot connect to Epicor Kinetic?

Yes, through custom middleware. For Dollamur Sport Surfaces, Growth built and tested an integration in which a deal marked Invoice Paid creates an Epicor sales order, and Epicor's products, price books and costs load into HubSpot.
